ARE YOU READY FOR SKINCARE INJECTABLES

We spend a lot of time trying to find the perfect skincare routine for our skin. Unfortunately, when only dealing with the surface of this skin, there is only so much a cream can do.

Our skin does an amazing job of providing us with a barrier against the outside world, but it means that when your wanting extreme and more instant results, you must go under the skin.

Collagen being that youthful protein which gives our skin bouncy, tensile strength is all pretty impotent when using topically. The molecules are simply too big to penetrate into the skin.

The same goes for hyaluronic acid, which holds over 1000 times its own weight in water, has to be fine-tuned to the correct molecule weight before it can be used as a topical serum.

’’Our skin does an amazing job of providing us with a barrier against the outside world, but it means that when your wanting extreme and more instant results, you must go under the skin.’’

So let’s talk about injectable skin care, what is it?

Some call it an injectable moisturiser and most claim its magic potion!

The products we will be discussing offer global rejuvenation with minimal downtime. It has the benefit of giving the skin a plump hydrated glow, whilst also kickstarting your own cell turnover.

Below points out the main benefits of injectable skincare

  • Instant long lasting results
  • Overall rejuvenation
  • Plump skin
  • Increased collagen production
  • Increased skin elasticity
  • Instant glow & hydration

We offer 2 types of injectable skincare, one being Profhilo. This is a pure hyaluronic acid which is something our body naturally produces. As we age, this process decreases and becomes a lot more sluggish leaving our skin looking dehydrated and tired. Injecting pure hyaluronic acid in to the skin also helps produce more collagen and elastin, leaving the skin feeling hydrated and plump.

Our second injectable skin booster is Sunekos. This is a mix of hyaluronic acid and amino acids which give similar results to Profhilo, but can work in a more specific area. Such as under eyes to help reduce the appearance of dark circles, lines on the forehead and more of a general glow rather than a plump. Both injectables work extremely well together.

Injectables used to mean one of two things, botox and dermal fillers. With our growing desire to stay looking young and fresh, there has also been huge scientific advances when looking at any type of skincare injectables.

Afterall, a clinician standing in front of you and assessing your skin whilst offering bespoke scientifically proven solutions can massively outweigh buying topical skincare off a shelf.

Don’t get us wrong, skincare is still massively important and when used alongside injectable skin boosters, results are incredible.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT PRACTITIONER FOR YOU

If you’ve been thinking about getting a cosmetic treatment done, you’ve probably done plenty of research around the treatment you want. But have you done your research on the clinic and practitioner which will be performing your treatments? It can be difficult to know what to look out for so we have noted a few of the most important factors to consider when looking for a practitioner.

“But have you done your research on the clinic and practitioner which will be performing your treatments? “

First thing to look out for is the training, skills and education the practitioner has received. Don’t be afraid to ask about their qualifications, insurance or expirience. A good practitioner will be happy to share this information with you.

Below we will talk about the most important factors of what to look for:

  • Qualifications
  • Trust/Communication
  • Insurance
  • Price
  • Reviews
  • Before & Afters

Having some type of communication with the practitioner prior to booking, will give you an idea of whether they are the right fit for you. Being able to trust your practitioner in their ability to tell you what you do or don’t need, is very important. A good practitioner will be upfront and honest. If they feel you don’t require a certain procedure, they wont agree to performing it on you. Make sure your looking for a practitioner who has your best interest at heart. If you get a bad vibe, look elsewhere.

Making sure your practitioner is insured is a big must! If its not clear on their website, ask them! You need to make sure your practitioner has the correct insurance in the (unlikely) event that anything goes wrong with your treatment.

Always check social media accounts, google reviews and before & after pictures to decide whether this practitioner has a good name in the business or not. If they don’t have many pictures online for you to see, ask them to send you some If you like what you see, you will feel more at ease in booking with them.
